Drops & Steeps – Strong Intermediate
Do you want to become faster mountain biker? Want to overcome drops, and want to be confident in steeps? Join our Drops & Steep clinic to learn the skills needed to tackle anything the mountain throws at you in safe, professional, supportive and fun environment.
In this course we will break down the technique for drops & execute them safely.
Our Drops & Steeps the perfect way to improve your downhill technique, gain more confidence in steep, and have fun with your new Shred Sisters friends!

- Bragg Creek: $259 + GST (Include Shuttles)
- Cranbrook: $229 +GST (This course focuses on steep and technical terrain.)
- Golden : $229 + GST (If you have a truck, please bring it to help with shuttling!)
- Revelstoke: $125 + GST (steep focus only) – 3 hours

Note: This course is enduro style. Participants should be prepared to pedal for about 2 hours, with some stops along the way. This course focuses on steep and technical terrain.

Skills & Fitness Level Required
- Rider must be comfortable on all blue trails & ready to do some black trails
- Must be able to lift front, rear, and both wheels at the same time.
- Your bike should have disc brakes, in good working condition that were serviced within the past year, and ideally dual suspension.
Strong Intermediate
Who this is for
You’re fully comfortable on blue trails and can ride black trails while still being challenged by technical features. You’re familiar with roots, rocks, and varied terrain.

- You are capable of riding for multiple days in a row at a moderate pace for an average of 2-3 hours of pedal time each day. You could handle adding a day requiring up to 4-hours of pedal time.
- You are confident climbing up to a total of 300 vertical metres (1,000 ft.) in a day.
- You exercise on average 6-7 hours per week.
- Your exercise regime includes a combination of endurance training like riding a bike and strength training.

Cancellation Policy – Programs

- Cancellations submitted 14 days or more before the program start date will receive a full refund, minus an administration fee of 25% of the course cost.
- Cancellations with less than 14 days before the program start date will not be refunded or credited.
- If you cannot attend for medical reasons and notify us at least 14 days prior to the program start date, you will be eligible for a free transfer or credit, provided you submit a note from your doctor. The free transfer can only be used once.

- If you request a transfer 21+ days before the program start date and do it yourself through the registration software, there is no administration fee.
- If we process the transfer on your behalf, a 10% administration fee applies.
- Mistakes during registration: Free transfer within 48 hours of payment.
*This course can be offered on customized dates for groups of 4+ who want to learn with their friends.
